For a long time, our family ran a commercial printing operation. Banners, trade show displays, signage, the kind of work that ends up in lobbies and storefronts across the country. We knew color, we knew substrate, and we knew what it took to make a printed product that held up. That part came easy after two decades in the industry.

What we did not expect was that the idea for Mouse Pad Haus would come from pure frustration at a desk job. Before we went full-time into printing, several of us spent years working corporate office jobs, long days in front of monitors, sitting in open floor plans, staring at the same gray, logo-stamped mouse pad that came in the IT welcome kit. It sounds small, but when you spend eight to ten hours a day at a desk, the stuff around you starts to matter. The desk looked bleak. The mouse pad looked worse.

We started making custom pads for ourselves, then for coworkers who kept asking where they could get one. We realized pretty quickly that nobody was doing this well. Most options were either cheap promotional junk or overpriced novelty items with no real print quality behind them. We had the equipment, the experience, and honestly, the personal motivation to do it right.

Mouse Pad Haus is our answer to that gap. Every pad we make is custom printed with the same care we put into commercial work, right here in Washington, Missouri. We are a small family operation and we intend to stay that way. We check every order before it ships. We answer our own support emails. And we genuinely believe that every desk in America deserves to look a little better than the one we used to sit at.
